Gasboy KE200 key encoder cable

Does anyone have the pin outs for a 9 pin to 25 pin serial cable for a Gasboy Key encoder (for the keys not cards). The wise people at Gilbarco show a 25-25 pin cable now tell me who in the hell has a 25 pin serial port on their laptop?? Sorry tech support could not help me, this is the best tech support out there....

It should be a standard modem cable.
It should work with 2 & 3 Swaped,
5 on the 9pin connected to 7 on the 25pin side

My neighbor has an encoder, will try a couple of cables over the next week.
