Probably a GT question but, in the SASUI.ini file (this controls the user interface for the SMS and i located in c:\windows) the following options are available -

ForceArchive=0
SendTo=Unknown
FTPAdd=Unknown
FTPUser=Unknown
FTPPass=Unknown
PostURL=Unknown
PostAs=Unknown
ShowSend=0

force archive we use already
the rest if functional I would like to be using for off-site backup of the tlogs.  The archive software that Verifone explained would be coming soon may have something to do with these but not quite sure.

Currently we are using a backup software, but it is at times unreliable.

Most of this will be future use.  The only other thing used by this ini at this time is storage of the list of locations you have connected to.  This allows you to retain the list if you uninstall 1 version of sms and re-install a new one.  Of course, if all you connect to are sites on a local basis ( vs multiple sites over the internet ), there will only be 1 address held here.
