WESTERN DIVISION SALES MANAGER
PETROLEUM INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Tanknology Inc. is the largest U.S. provider of underground storage tank (UST) tightness testing. We perform tests on underground storage tank systems for major oil companies.
Western Division Sales Manager (Phoenix, S.CA, or N.CA preferred)
Position Requires:
· Strong presentation and communication skills, PC literacy required.
· Skills to develop customer rapport and to consummate sales.
· Ability to develop strong product knowledge and technical application capability on all products and services to effectively present features and benefits.
· Personal and professional integrity for dealing with clients and alliance partners.
· Motivated and disciplined to work independently, as well as, in a team environment.
· Efficient time management including weekly sales call report plan and monthly sales recap report.
· Willingness to travel frequently and extensively (50% minimum) throughout CA & 10 Western states at Company's expense.
· Experience in sales negotiations for contracts and service agreements.
· Ability to develop long-term relationships with key contacts/clients using consultative selling approach.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Call on regional and select national accounts, create and integrate client action plans, provide strategic account management and offer value-added resources.
· All divisional client scope of work/price quotations , proposals and/or RFP’s will be reviewed/ pre-approved by Western Division VP prior to being submitted to prospective client for evaluation .
· Achieve overall sales objectives as defined by Western Division Vice President.
· Call on existing clients, and expand client base through cold calls, referrals, networking and by targeting major potential customers while maintaining ongoing direct contact.
· Accurate and timely forecasting of significant sales orders and contracts.
· Thorough understanding of customer decision process and ability to influence crucial decisions.
· Attendance at trade shows and other specific association and industry related meetings and follow up on all relevant leads.
· Collection of all relevant details (financial, technical, competitive), as well as, concise, complete and accurate reporting of client organizational structure and communication channels.
· Follow up on services/installations for customer satisfaction and referrals, as well as, the identification and resolution of suspected problems.
· Maximization of both travel and expense cost efficiency through adequate planning and scheduling of time.
