Jeremy Clarkson reviews the Honda Insight

This is a criticism of his review.
Warning for children and easily offended:
Contains bad words!

I'm willing to buy his argument that the insight is shite. But he does
so by saying that it's shite compared to the (much better) prius,
which he alludes to but can't quite bring himself to admit. He then
contradicts himself by saying all hybrids are shite when he really
means the insight. Next he waffles about diesel being better. Great
but we're RUNNING OUT Jeremy you big tool.
To top it all off he goes on about the superbly inefficient and
laws-of-physics breaking "hydrogen economy" as a solution to declining
oil just because he likes how it drives. Duh.

THEN he breezily dismisses the 300 mile range tesla as being impractical
despite there being a power source for it in every motel in the land,
while there are all of 5 hydrogen filling stations only in california.
Talking about IMPRACTICAL. What a tool.
Jeremy clarkson is a know-nuff luddite muppet.

Thanks though for the review of the honda. Don't like them much
anyway. Prefer the Prius or the Ford Fusion or preferably the Ford
Escape. or perhaps a hybrid hummer.

I had an AWD Escape hybrid for 3 years. It was nice. Not particularly exciting, but it did the job, and went like great guns in the snow.

The only real downside to it was the cold. The fuel mileage was way too dependent on the temperature, and my commute way too short. Without sufficient time to warm up, the mileage wasn't much better than some other regular AWD car or small suv.
Despite all his industry pandering (after all, that is his real job), Jeremy is pretty switched on:
